I had the opportunity to meet the Altans during the interview process and they are incredibly warm and kind. Their generosity allowed me to focus fully on my studies without the added stress of financial concerns during a portion of my medical school career. Crucially, the foundation provided me with a stable and supportive place to live, which served as my home base while I navigated the demands of the medical school.
